ROLY WITHEROW
COMPOSER FOR FILM & TV
Roly Witherow is a British composer for film, TV, and theatre based between London and Lisbon.
Roly's credits include Channel 4's On The Edge, 2015 BIFA nominated feature film Gregor, BBC's Who Do You Think You Are? and BAFTA-longlisted short film Pregnant Pause by Alice Seabright. Currently on Netflix is the feature film TRY, nominated for the Ocaña Award at the Seville European Film Festival, featuring Roly's electro-pop score as well as a number of original songs.
With a diverse compositional voice that includes orchestral, electronic, folk and pop influences, Roly is known for writing distinctive and memorable scores which form an integral part of the film's storytelling.
Through his work with music agencies Wake the Town and CORD, Roly also writes music for commercials. He has scored adverts for global brands including Tate, Valentino and Aston Martin, as well as TV coverage of the Rio Olympics and the Russia World Cup.
